Introduction:
Welcome to today’s episode of The Presence of God! I'm your host, Niccie, and today, we are diving into the incredible empowerment that comes when we step out in faith and share the goodness of God with others. Witnessing can feel intimidating, but when we rely on the Holy Spirit, we can boldly proclaim His truth and love to those around us.

THE PROBLEM:
Take a moment to reflect—do any of these resonate with you?

  • Feeling unsure or unqualified to share your faith?

  • Afraid of rejection or not knowing what to say?

  • Wanting to be a light for Christ but not sure how?

If you find yourself hesitating, don’t worry! God equips those He calls, and He calls all of us to share His love with the world.

THE WORD:
Let’s hear what the Word says about witnessing and sharing our faith:

  • Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV): "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

    • Jesus commissions us to spread the Gospel, and He promises to be with us.

  • Acts 1:8 (NIV): "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

    • We are empowered by the Holy Spirit to witness.

  • Romans 1:16 (NIV): "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes."

    • The Gospel is powerful—when we share it, we bring life to others.

  • 2 Timothy 1:7 (NIV): "For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love, and self-discipline."

    • We don’t need to fear—God has given us courage!

  • Colossians 4:6 (NIV): "Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone."

    • When we speak with grace and wisdom, we can reach hearts for Christ.

THE GIFT:
Sharing our faith brings:

  • Boldness: We grow in confidence as we step out in faith.

  • Impact: Our testimony can change lives.

  • Spiritual Growth: Witnessing strengthens our relationship with God.

  • Joy: There is great joy in leading others to Christ.

THE CHOICE:
We have free will and must choose daily to share the love of Christ.

  • Will you step out in faith and share your testimony?

  • Will you trust in the Holy Spirit to guide your words?

  • Will you embrace the joy of bringing others closer to God?

Personal Reflection:

  • Who in your life needs to hear about God’s goodness?

  • How can you be more intentional about sharing your faith?

  • Where do you need to rely more on the Holy Spirit for courage?

Let’s Close in Prayer

"Lord, we come before You today, confessing the times we’ve put other things before You. Help us to prioritize You above all else. Give us the faith to trust Your provision, the wisdom to align with Your will, and the strength to surrender fully to You. Thank You for Your patience and unfailing love. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen."
