It all started when Tawana felt unseen, unheard, and unmotivated with her life when God restored her life through her unwavering faith in Christ Jesus. “… feeling unseen unheard and just unmotivated with life and Christ restored my faith in him. He turned my life around and at the moment he did that I started pursuing him in a personal way, it wasn’t like a a force way, it wasn’t a routine way… I was pursuing him personally. I had an encounter with God where I was just in worship and no one like touched me or laid hands on me and prayed for me. I was in worship and I literally felt a supernatural experience come over me and it was a love I didn’t know existed in this realm and I was in worship and I fell to my knees I don’t remember falling to my knees I just saw a video when I was on my knees and I just stretched out my arms and I was just like ‘thank you Jesus, thank you Jesus’ and that was the moment where I encountered him in a new way” – Tawana

‘… so I was able to spread awareness to people uh teach them about mandated reporting teaching them how to speak up I go into the schools and I educate kids on body safety…’

‘…  so I feel like to develop that, that happens outside of the church. How do you, your family at home how do you talk to other? Do people see God when they talk to you or do people hear God when they talk to you? I feel like our lives are walking bibles for somebody who may never read one and so how we live and or perceived or projected by others is very important if we call ourselves a Christian.’ 

‘He’s sovereign so he can heal you without counseling, he can heal you without medication but he can also heal you with those things as well and so not being wanting to control the way God brings about your healing and deliverance. But he can also do it this way too and just so sitting in in his presence and understanding which way which avenue he’s going to take you and being okay with whatever avenue that is the thing.’
