The Leading Legacy 5-Fold Academy
Equipping of all the saints
The five-fold ministry is found in Ephesians 4:11,"So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ." It refers to the five roles that God has called Christians to fill. (1) apostles, (2) prophets, (3) evangelists, (4) pastors, and (5) teachers.
Apostles
Are the sent ones... sent to preach the Gospel, heal the sick, cast out demons, raise the dead. They open the eye's of others to the call God has on their life. They walk alongside them, often pioneers for bold new ways of sharing God's truth, power, and Kingdom growth. They can and do operate in all five giftings when needed.
prophets
Speak and share the heart of God for His people. They accurately discern God’s heart for an individual or situation that edifies and encourages believers. They help people 'hear' the voice of God, feel His love for them, and to understand His faithfulness in their life... Often through knowings, visions and dreams.
evangelists
Reach the lost and forgotten. They carry special anointing to birth souls into the kingdom by revealing Jesus’s grace, goodness and love. They are excited for people’s transformation. They inspire curiosity and a desire to know Jesus in others.
pastors
Carry special anointing to shepherd, and lead others through personal issues, instrumental in guiding people through brokenness, back to wholeness and to remain in the house of God. They create a safe atmosphere of community and belonging. They joy and fulfillment in God's ministry, allowing people to feel like they are part of a greater family.
teachers
Make the Word of God, it's truth, and the knowledge of God understandable to all. They have an ability for breaking clarity to complicated teaching and misinformation.
Serving as A volunteer
Impacting communities throughout the United States of America through special events, projects and outreach activities that share Christ, love people and ultimately provide hope.
