An awesome entrepreneur who is working in the space of mindfulness. After decades of trying to do all the right things, Diana still felt exhausted and discouraged.

All her life, she tried to do the right thing. She stayed married and raised good kids, volunteered to church, helped others, and really tried her best to be the best person she could be.
But none of it made her happy.

She went back to school, and as she learned how to manage the thoughts in her brain, Diana quickly learned that mind renewal was also the key to managing her emotions. She finished a degree with an emphasis on leadership development, got an advanced certification as a life coach, received master-level coach training, and now finally created her own mind-renewal tools that had her love-loving life again and brought her dreams to life.

As host of her own podcast, Renew Your Mind, she is on a mission to empower thousands of women with the same practical tools so they can experience more of the joy, hope, and peace that God promised.

"... one afternoon my young boys were playing, it's the Legos-all-over-the-floor phase, and I probably should have been watching them but I went into my bedroom, shut the door, and just lay in the bed with my head. I was just like I was gone like I was absent in mind I was so exhausted after a few minutes my cell phone rang I didn't even move it rang a couple of times and only then I was like oh my phone's ringing maybe I should answer it…

"... earlier that day I'd called the women's ministry leader from my church and I was just desperate for help.. so we talked for several minutes but I don't remember any of the conversation except for one thing in the middle after I had said whatever I said and it felt like many seconds of silence she said ‘Diana I think you're discouraged,’ and I felt a weight come off or like something opened and some pressure released and I was baffled because I wondered how knowing I was discouraged give me relief…?

"... I did a lot of things to find my way in life, work through a difficult marriage, work through money problems and all these other things but what really helped me and what sparked from that moment was being able to name my emotions."

"... so I became a life coach and put together tools centered around identifying what your emotions are in any circumstance like it's our hidden superpower and if you can know what your emotions are you can do something about it or you can use them to your advantage."

"... either way work on your life or grow your business and that is that you can purposely choose emotions that will fuel the actions and behavior in your life that you want.."

" if you want to create different stuff in your life or you want to have a better relationship you need to think about them differently, like just think they have good intentions, just think everything will turn out fine, just think positive. Everyone says just think positive and everything will get better and I'm like 'no thinking positive doesn't work."

"... the truth is we have no idea what's going to happen and we can create a lot of stuff by the way we think and and how we choose to renew our mind but we still have no control over other people and worldly circumstance.."

Here are 3 valuable takeaways from Diana:

  1. Feelings are fuel for your behavior.

  2. Thoughts create our feelings.

  3. Making a believable thought that creates the emotion.

"Thoughts come fast but emotions come and hang out with us." Diana
