Welcome to the first episode of The Presence of God! I’m excited to kick off a new show focused on God’s presence and how it impacts decision-making. After feeling God’s nudge for a month, I’ve stepped into this new chapter to share with you how His guidance has transformed my life.

In this series, we’ll explore how to invite God into our daily lives—especially when making decisions. Let’s dive in!

  I’ve learned that turning to God in decision-making is life-changing. By seeking His will, I’ve found more clarity and peace, even in tough decisions. This episode is all about helping you do the same.

• Scripture: James 4:13-15:
  In James 4:13-15, we’re reminded that life is fleeting, and our plans must be submitted to God. Instead of relying on our own understanding, we’re called to ask, “If the Lord wills...” in everything we do.

  James says life is like a mist—here one moment and gone the next. Understanding this fragility makes us more dependent on God, who offers eternal wisdom for our temporary lives.

• Surrendering Our Plans:

  It’s not enough to pray; we need to act. As Romans 12:2 says, we are transformed by the renewing of our minds, and God wants us to step out in faith, trusting Him as we move forward.

• Trusting God’s Guidance:
  We don’t always have all the answers, but trusting God means believing His plans for us are good. When we seek Him in our decisions, He will guide us, even through challenges.

• Living in God’s Presence:
  As New Testament believers, we have the privilege of always having God’s Holy Spirit with us. The more we draw near to Him, the more we experience His wisdom and peace in our decision-making.

• Honoring God in Every Decision:
  Whether it’s finances, work, or family, inviting God into every decision aligns us with His purpose. This brings clarity and ensures we’re walking in His will.

• Closing Prayer:
  I ended this episode with a prayer, asking God to guide your decisions and help you experience His presence more deeply. I encourage you to bring your current decisions before Him.
