"... I find so many people struggling their faith because they feel like they can't hear God or God isn't near when in fact we're the ones who have walked away or we're the ones who aren't paying attention and listening..."
"... the praying and the reflecting are a little bit easier, but I know so many people have grown up in the church their whole lives, and sometimes they just believe things because that's what their parents believe or that's what they've been taught. But when difficult times come, if you're not really sure why you believe what you believe, then that's when you can have the tendency to say you know well God caused my situation or I'm struggling because God didn't care."
"... so if you know why you believe what you believe, I think it helps you to be a better human being and a better Christian but when people ask you difficult questions or when challenges arise then you can answer those in a manner that just says Beyond just have faith. I mean I believe we should have faith but to me just have faith is not a good answer for most people's questions."
Here are Gladys' 3 valuable keywords:
You need to have a daily devotional with God.
You have to spend time each morning with a scripture.
Know why you believe what you believe.
"Don't settle for a life of emptiness and unfulfillment. Embrace self-care, spiritual transformation, and the fullness of God's blessings." - Gladys
