Let's welcome Marsha, a counselor and devotional author whose passion is simply to help women find motivation through God's word to live a healthy life with the goal for us to live fit and free by ditching diets so that we can embrace our age and stage of life and do what God's called us to do.

She now shares what she has learned (and continues to learn) about faith and fitness. She loves guiding and counseling other women to a fit and healthy lifestyle, both physically and spiritually, with her Faith and Fitness FrameworkTM.  Marsha is learning to appreciate her unique self and the unique needs of her body.

She now helps women break free from dieting and discover how to feel good in their bodies so that they can live the life God designed for them at their current age and stage of life.

"... you know a lot of times we're just at that age where we've kind of tried it all and we're ready just to embrace who we are, how God made us, and we want to do that all of our life but at points we finally start realizing that okay we've tried it all, we've done all of those things with my focus being on like health and wellness. You know a lot of times just breaking free from that diet mentality and it's just time to embrace where we are and how God's made us really good. "

'... self-care isn't selfish. Self-care is how we can again fulfill what God has called us to do and we as women of all ages we're constantly doing things for others and we're working and wanting to do all the things but we have to slow down and start caring for ourselves.'

'... next thing is that movement every day is something that I think helps us. Ee can take what we spent or what we heard with the Lord or what we read and we can think about it as we go out and take a walk or do something like that because I think the movement is so important for us again as women, as business owners, I mean we do so much from our home and a lot of people are at the desk. I write devotions I have to remind myself to get up so daily movement is another tip in helping us be healthy and be creative.'

'... just getting out and getting a breath of fresh air can clear our minds and even Inspire us, especially as a creative, I don't know how many ideas have come to me just as I've you know set outside or I'm stuck on a problem or whatever and I just go clear my head and it just brings clarity.'

'... my most recent devotional that I wrote is uh was 50 days of faith and fitness a walk through the Psalms and you know it's about getting that daily dose of Jesus fresh air and movement and you know we can do all of that at one time.'

Here are 3 valuable fitness tips from Marsha:

  1. Self-care isn't selfish.

  2. Movement we enjoy and will do regularly.

  3. Get outside every day.

"This is not about a big transformation in my waistline but more importantly in my mind to be free to fully live the life Christ has for me." - Marsha
